The Plymouth Police Department is proposing to use a parcel of town owned land for the purpose of conducting firearms training. The purpose of training is for transitioning to new duty weapons, which was funded through a Capital Project. This parcel of land is located at the very back of the Camelot Park Industrial area behind the water treatment facility. This training will be conducted for approximately 12 weeks starting in mid-October and will take place during the day and early evening not past 8 PM.
There will be a public forum to discuss any concerns or other issues regarding this proposal. This will be held at the Plymouth Police Department in the first floor Training Room on Tuesday October 13, 2009 from 4 PM to 6 PM.
